Pirate was at home in Jamaica. He managed to eek out a living for years bartending, doing carpentry jobs, and living frugally. He was well-liked by the locals as he lived their style. Tourists gravitated to him for advice when he bartended on the West End and during his days as drinking ambassador on Dellie's late late night porch aka MiYard. Pirate could drink rum with the best of them while telling story after story. Remember those Tuesday Night Live broadcasts with folks dancing to the tunes. Then of course the girls from Scrub-a-Dub would show up after their shifts to welcome the morning sun with rum. What a life!

I have lots of photos of Pirate, unfortunately they're all on an old computer that won't boot up.
