He can play alright. So, as I'm listening I'm hearing a spirited blend of string instruments and yet I can't help but think the drummer stepped out to smoke a cigarette. To me something was missing. Then I watch the video and best as I can tell there is no drummer. Never seen that before. Wondering if they were using a drum machine on some songs.

No percussion at all. They used to go by the "Little String Band" or something like that. I'm amazed by the sounds they coax out of those string instruments. They use the Cello as sort of a fill in for percussion. That said, when they're really ripping, I don't feel like I really miss the drums (and I'm a drummer).
