It might be easier to take route taxi's to Black River and then get a regular taxi to Treasure Beach from Black River.  And definitely make sure you don't go the route taxi route on a Sunday!

Kilnbak - not quite treasure beach, but you could fly to the uk for a World Cup fix. It has and always does take over the whole country. Nearly every house in my neighbourhood  and city has a flag flying lol.. You would definitely get the atmosphere here..lol
England are playing tonight 11 PM kick off for us, always live in hope!
Sure treasure beach will be screening it somewhere. Have fun!

There are very swimmable beaches but they may not be in front of where you are staying. Jake's beach right in front is tiny and rough but in either direction to the sides there are better ones. Great Bay is calm and clear and sandy and long, Old Wharf has a lovely small sandy cove...there ar emore. Frenchmans and Calabash can have waves, it depends.
