Costa Rica - macyoder - 04-10-2015 I am going to try and share my pictures from Costa Rica. In February we visited for 9 days . My flight on Delta was free and we booked Caravan Tours for $1,500 per person ( $1,200 plus $300 in taxes) which included hotel, transportation, 3 meals per day, plus guided tours. It was simple a amazing but I did not get a chance to do the zip line so I tried the longest and highest on in Central America on my cruise to Roatan, Honduras. Over nine days I fell in love with the protected beauty. There is so much effort in keeping nature alive and well. From what I saw, Jamaica's beaches are more stunning, especially Negril. It's almost hassle free to the point you feel strange about looking with no intention to buy. I learned about the Jamaican population in Limon called mek-me-tell-yuh. There were miles and miles of planted fields left undisturbed. We were on the Pacific and Caribbean sides staying at really nice hotel including the JW Marriott. Jamaica gets the edge on vibe mostly because of English being the first language. I noticed this a lot when I cruise, the easy flow of conversation among the island staff. The same easiness in Belize, the only English speaking country in Central America with a similar dialect to Jamaicans plus other Caribbean islands I have visited. As for food, I am not crazy about many Jamaican dishes so it was not missed. Overall, I enjoyed what was served in abundance.
