Housing Scheme outside Negril - JonTom - 10-05-2018 Does anyone know details of the Housing Scheme/Development being built just outside Negril? It is about a mile inland from Orange Bay and same from Green Island. I'd say there are 160 or so units, some just started, some built and exterior painted (Orange, Blue, or Yellow), look identical in shape, and I don't think any are inhabited. There were articles last year about the NHT building homes to accommodate tourism sector workers and Negril's exploding growth, but I thought that was over by Frome somewhere. There are the infrastructure questions, as usual. 18°22'03.2"N 78°16'24.1"W (according to google maps).
