Crocodile on 7 mile beach - kylake - 02-21-2019 Reports of a croc near Travelers. Assumption is it came out from Negril River which is logical. Also mentioned that fisherman were able to lasso it and removed it from the beach area. Probably soon be lunch and dinner and a purse, belt, etc. [attachment=2808] RE: Crocodile on 7 mile beach - Westenders - 02-21-2019 No way lol Is this true We are here now and my grandson has been terrified there are crocs in the rover and morass and we keep telling him there are none I better not show him this until we get home lol RE: Crocodile on 7 mile beach - kylake - 02-21-2019 Westenders, it was said to be the truth but I am not there and read it on a message board. More than one person stated it as a fact and a Jamaican said it happens from time to time as is ho-hum tell me something I didn't know. RE: Crocodile on 7 mile beach - Aquavit - 02-21-2019 It happens more frequently than one would think. (I saw pictures on FB this morning of this latest). I remember seeing fishermen wrangling Crocs to "send them back to the river" in West End waters. RE: Crocodile on 7 mile beach - Firemon - 02-22-2019 The salt water will kill it. Needs to be in fresh or brackish water. Poor fellow is going to need help to survive. RE: Crocodile on 7 mile beach - Tim - 02-22-2019 How will the salt water kill it? I would be more concerned it's kill by humans. RE: Crocodile on 7 mile beach - TAH - 02-22-2019 Yeah it won't kill it. Crocodiles can deal with saltwater, it's alligators that can't. It's pretty common for them to periodically go out into the ocean, the saltwater helps them deal with parasites. RE: Crocodile on 7 mile beach - Westenders - 02-22-2019 Oh Lordy that and those facts are scary lol Thanks for the photo Kylake ... I never would have looked out for a croc in the sea. ? RE: Crocodile on 7 mile beach - Westenders - 02-26-2019 Just saw this on YouTube looks like it was true bloody hell I never liked the crap that spews into the sea at that end of the beach but this is a whole new level lol Anyone confirm that’s travellers beach front ?
