A friend of mine had a couple of bouts with cancer spots on his lung. He had a couple of operations and after the last one the Dr. said he was cancer free . After a few months Sandy wasn't feeling the best and he started to think negative thoughts about how he was feeling . He went to his own Dr and ended up going to get a CT scan done . His own Dr looked at it and told him he had 2-3 months to live . Sandy was devastated and trying to sell off things , even his dog was for sale ( just a joke of course ) .I sad " Sandy get a 2nd opinion on this Buddy and I don't care if you have to go to the tavern and ask some one " . He called the Dr that operated on him and got an appointment for last Tuesday . I took him to Halifax to see the Dr and I told Sandy I was going in with him because I wasn't dragging him around without someone telling me that he was dying . WELL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the Dr looked at Sandy and asked who told him he was full of cancer and he said his local Dr . The specialist looked at him and said " Sandy you are cancer FREE !!!!! get out of the house and start walking more and quit this self pity ." What a GREAT !!!! drive we had back to River John .Amen

That is wonderful. I bet that drive back was the best. I know he feels like a new man. God bless him and bless you for insisting he get a second opinion. xoxo
