I was waiting for more details, and still am, but I did read the 11AM story where IMO a MAJOR blunder was made by the authorities.

Higher ups think/want/tout tighter gun control. But in the 12 hours, this nut job could have used black powder guns with the same result.

I await a video of the police shooting the man before I judge if it was the only solution. It removed a source of knowledge to prevent this from happening again. Sad, sad story.

Why they didn't send out an alarm on every cell phone in the province is beyond me. Whoever decided Twitter was the best option should be shit-canned.
