test # 1000.. - oldtimer - 10-17-2020 Don't know how that one test made it through but now it doesn't even wait for a letter . As soon as I press reply it goes to archives . RE: test # 1000.. - kylake - 10-17-2020 Have your son in law clear all your cached files in Chrome. Make sure you know your login info since when you clear browser cache and cookies you will have to login again. You browser may be pulling a temp internet file of the archives page. Also make sure you are using that link I put in the other thread for launching the page to the message board. https://jamericans.net/yellowboard/forumdisplay.php?fid=3 RE: test # 1000.. - CardBoardBox - 10-17-2020 This afternoon Chrome worked for me. Tonight, it is back to the archieves page. I did see some 'intervention' code when there is a slowdown on the network, and even saw a link while using the developer tool which showed the yellowboard URL ending with the 200.195 which it should never be. I am no closer at providing a solution, so stop here. Ad or ad-site related? Maybe. Network or computer too busy? Maybe. https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5636954674692096 https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5629709824032768 and some mention of https instead of http being prefered. I know I start off with https but it switches to unsecured connections SOMETIMES RE: test # 1000.. - kylake - 10-18-2020 Okay in testing my latest results using Chrome If you go to https://jamericans.net/yellowboard/forumdisplay.php?fid=3 and login you can reply. If you go to http://jamericans.net/yellowboard/forumdisplay.php?fid=3 and login when you try to reply it goes to the archive. I do believe some of the problem is being caused if people are on the http and not the https URL after Dread made the change to a secure site and you probably have the insecure http url page cached. But as far as not being able to login as I also know some are struggling with the above is probably not the issue. |
