For you old guys and for you youngens here is a true story about honesty .There use to be a girl ( white ) that stayed in and around Negril for years . She had travelled to the south shore one time and made friends with a fisherman that fished out of a dug out . One day when he was fishing he saw something drop out of a plane and he paddled quite a distance to get where he saw this happen . It turned out to be a block of coke that weight 4 kilo's and was as pure as you could get . The fisherman confided to the girl what he had found and they made a plan . She knew someone in the states that could get rid of it . It was a thought out plan but still very , very risky . With her plan she got it into the US , got the $'s for the package and then RETURNED !!!!!!!!!!!! to Ja to split the booty . !!!!!! Now there is HONESTY !!!! at the top shelf !!!!! Good or bad a lot of lives were changed because of a chance meeting .

In seriousness, that is a great story. I am very interested in the "plan." There's a book "Snowblind" (my dealer got the copy I have from the author, really) on how they used trinkets and rolling pins and unsuspecting people to transport the items. That's intrege (sp?)
What about the "bike" ?

OT2,
An American White Guy that I got to know and trust who owns a hotel in Treasure Beach told me the story of a fisherman, an American guy married to a Jamaican woman, who was also living in Treasure Beach in the early 1980's. One morning a bunch of bales of White Lobster appeared floating in Frenchman's Bay. The fisherman decided that good luck was on his side and he went out and made several runs out with his boat picking up the treasure. He drove his old Land Rover to the water's edge to haul the bounty off to his home nearby. While he was doing this a small single engine plane was passing back and forth overhead and a local TB fellow fisherman advised him that what he was doing wasn't a good idea. The guy had contacts in Florida and was able to sell the bales of white powder stateside. He built a really nice bar and restaurant near the beach and a very comfortable luxurious vila in the hills overlooking TB. Life was good, he bought a new fiberglass fishing boat with twin 250HP engines and between the bar and restaurant and his fishing business he was raising his children in a lifestyle that he couldn't have imagined. All stories should have happy endings but unfortunately this one doesn't. One morning a car pulled down the lane to the bar before opening time. Two men got out and asked by name for the owner of the establishment. The worker went and got the boss telling him that someone was asking for him. He came out and greeted the two men and one asked him if his name was such in such and when he nodded affirmatively the man pulled out a handgun and murdered him on the spot. The two guys turned around and drove off never to be seen or heard from again. The description was two "Spanish Looking" guys in a white car. No investigation, no arrest......
