Coyotes ?? - oldtimer - 05-20-2023 The last few days I have had a white !!!! coyote on my property . 1st time I ever saw one !!! I look at it with my binocalers (sp) and it seems as healthy as can be . My daughter is coming today and she has a good camera . Not nearly as cool, but I saw the biggest raccoon in my lifetime last week, and again last night by our back deck. This thing is just an absolute tank, has to be close to 50-60#.  RE: Coyotes ?? - Firemon - 05-24-2023 I was driving the Cloquet Trail (an old rocky logging road) last week when I snuck up on a completely oblivious coyote (I'm saying coyote but I'm really not sure since it was so large it could have been a wolf but I'm going with coyote since it was blonde) thanks to my new vehicle's stealthy-ness. It's a hybrid and it switched itself into all-electric mode. Critter gave me a "I don't know whether to be mad at you or mad at myself" look. Surprisingly it never even ran off since I kept going. A bear took down my bird feeders a couple times earlier this month so I bring them in at night now. Should be easier for da bear to find food in the woods before much longer so I won't have to.
