New Tuna news.... - oldtimer - 08-20-2023 Since the Tuna fisherman stopped fishing for awhile here's what happened .The Americans were alotted 75 Ton of the Canadian quota . Now they don't have to bring their own boats up they lease the boat and fishermen from here . A trial fish was caught by ( I will not mention his name ) was brought into a buyer and he was offered $5/lb CDN . He said f*** you and took the fish to the American buyer ( for the US fishermen ) who was also buying the Canadian fish and was offered $17US/Lb on the spot for that very fish . Same buyer , same fish . How F****** mad are these guys now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
