<P>On Feb. 1st we left PWM at 6 am. Check in was a breeze, and a bonus 2 free checked bags each. Gotta love the southwest/airtran merger.We had a quick layover in Baltimore. I ran to duty free only to find I had left my boarding pass with Sheila,and no time to get back. It took longer to buy smokes duty free at Mobay than customs. and we were only curbside for a few minutes when Karen,our host at LeMer pulled up. She took us to the MoBay yacht club for lunch and drinks. A great way to unwind.<BR>After the dreaded trip to Megamart , we got to Lances bay about 5. Ahh LeMer !! It was good to be home.<a href="http://s77.photobucket.com/user/dcyr/media/jamaica%202014%20why%20we%20go/P1000264_zps3da4e4dc.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j65/dcyr/jamaica%202014%20why%20we%20go/P1000264_zps3da4e4dc.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo P1000264_zps3da4e4dc.jpg"/></a><BR>It wasn't to long before Trevor and BobC show up,with herb, of course.After some catching up and a few JB's, the boys left, Sheila and I out on the porch taking it all in.so thankful for the warm tropical air and the sweet sounds of the night.<BR>I am up at daybreak on Island. It doesn't seem to matter what time I go to bed,or in what shape. Sheila sleeps in. I get up, make some coffee, roll a fatty, and meditate on the front porch, taking in the sounds and sights of the cove. I am the cook on vaca. Sheila works so hard at home,this is her vacation from housework.We don't eat much for breakfast. I cut up and plate some fruit. Papaya,banana,pine,melon .<BR>I check in and offer coffee if the empress is awake. Once in a while, we have eggs or ackee, but mostly just coffee,juice,fruit,and toast. I don't know how to use it ,but , get lucky sometimes.

<P>Sunday mornings are special in the cove at LeMer as sounds of praise fill the air from the Lances Bay United Church of God across the way.<BR><img src="http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j65/dcyr/jamaica%202014%20why%20we%20go/P1000811_zpsfee12c6c.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo P1000811_zpsfee12c6c.jpg"/><BR>Service starts at 8, and as near as I can tell, Its non-stop singing until close to noon .<BR><img src="http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j65/dcyr/jamaica%202014%20why%20we%20go/P1000806_zps63364920.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo P1000806_zps63364920.jpg"/><BR><img src="http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j65/dcyr/jamaica%202014%20why%20we%20go/P1000807_zps275e073b.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo P1000807_zps275e073b.jpg"/><BR>After a relaxing day swimming , and strolling about, trevor and new friend, pung , came over to take us out to dinner . I'm the cook remember. We went to a Pool bar/rest. just before Green Island. we shot a few games and had dinner with drinks . The tab for four, wasn't much over 3000j. I had a large curried conch, sheila fried chicken . She had Chicken a hundred different ways this trip. We went to a rum bar up on the hill across the highway back in Lances bay before calling it a night . I am thinking it was Joyce's ,nice vibe, good folks.

<P>Monday... what a day... Lobstah day !! It can definitely be feast or famine in Jamaica. I put the word out I'm buying fish. Standing offer for the local spear fisherman , I buy all Lionfish. I also know a few neighbors who hand line ,or have pots . On Monday morning there is a guy at the gate with 6 big lobsters,10 lbs. He also had fish, 8 assorted reef fish, parrot,grunt,1lion,ect. Karen took half the lobster, I took 3 lobster and all the fish for 3000j. Froze the fish.<BR><a href="http://s77.photobucket.com/user/dcyr/media/jamaica%202014%20why%20we%20go/P1000259_zps18978e49.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j65/dcyr/jamaica%202014%20why%20we%20go/P1000259_zps18978e49.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo P1000259_zps18978e49.jpg"/></a><BR>About 11 trevor calls,he is on his way with two grilled lobsters for lunch.<BR><a href="http://s77.photobucket.com/user/dcyr/media/jamaica%202014%20why%20we%20go/P1000258_zpsf0069db3.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j65/dcyr/jamaica%202014%20why%20we%20go/P1000258_zpsf0069db3.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo P1000258_zpsf0069db3.jpg"/></a><BR>We devour them. He says he will pick us up later for customer appreciation night at our friend Byrons shop in Cousins cove . Another afternoon in the sea and pool.
