This song popped into my head yesterday. No idea why.
I vaguely recall hearing it when very young and for some reason thought it was Carlos Santana (which shows I know every little about Carlos Santana).
I barely knew what alcoholic drinks were, but "pina colada" sounded like the most wonderful exotic thing in the world.
The lyric "don''t like Jamaica, I lover her" confused me. Certainly didn't know where Jamaica was located - just some far off island.
Reading about this now, I assume the Jamaica Tourism Board (or whatever existed back then) was not pleased (particularly when the band said the song was based on real events in Barbados!)

Never saw the video before, but the "concentrating on truckin' right" makes me giggle just a bit.
