Im still in shock...when that wears off i will be beyond sad.. I had the blessing to meet her once at Jam.Jewls place in Duncans beach.. She was like i thought she'd be..Full of life, sassy, kind/caring and take no BS..-she greatly loved her family and her passion to travel..
She taught me so much about the "other runnings" in Jam-beyond being a tourist(short, or long term) when one takes the plunge makes it a 2nd home..all her experience and wisdom were point -on..lot of stuff i didnt want to hear or believe...but she still loved her birthplace-the "bush" and the "sea" and all places in between. When my Jam partner was murdered by his family-although we never talked on the phone -she got my number and called me ..and explained some of the dynamics of how,why,what...I will never forget that. We also shared a common cause for the child abuse that is rampant in Jam (physical and esp sexual)..hoping to open eyes with the realities.. We both had a passion for travel and i was so hoping we would take a trip together in the future.. we still will..when my time comes to join you -we link up and travel the universe... I know what an outstanding wife and mother she was...i pray for her family..

I was shocked. Had a hard time wrapping my head around it.
Its interesting how you can never meet a person in "real life" yet really feel something at their passing - feeling like I've known her forever, her children, her husband, her passions and her wisdom. I know that is not the case and I will miss reading her posts and seeing her photos. My prayers are with her family. May the four winds blow you home Macy. Truly sad news. Her posts will be missed. I was aware she had health issues but it's still a shock as it seemed to be a sudden thing.

I have been offline since last week. So sad to hear the news and although I never met Macy she seemed like such a nice and caring person. Always trying to point out travel deals using cards and travel pitfalls and she was an expert at that. The last post I remember was a trip she planned again soon.
Rest in Peace Macy and best wishes for your family! Beer is proof God wants us to be happy, Ben Franklin
