I am sure most of you have seen a picture of the morass fire that was burning yesterday. Here is a picture taken from Point Village last night. Looks inferno like in the dark.

When was that taken ? With fire comes new life . In days gone by they would burn the cane fields before cutting the cane. 3 reasons for that .1 to get rid of the sand leaves that would cut them very badly 2. To get rid of the snakes and scorpins and 3 to put ash in the soil for better growth
