Tanya Sue Chutkan (born July 5, 1962) is a Jamaican-born American lawyer and jurist serving as a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. She is the judge overseeing the criminal trial of former U.S. president Donald J. Trump over the events leading up to the January 6, 2021, United States Capitol attack.
