Nobody is denying the "escalation" - I've read that there have actually been JDF soldiers on the beach (wonderful, huh?) - unconfirmed by any eye witness I know. Things "seem" to have calmed down based on more police presence - I'd assume. Will be checking in with Negril later so until then its all speculative. What is not speculative though is that these types of crime waves do escalate - but hardly EVER during high season. These types of shenanigans are usually perpetrated in the summer months when everyone is bored and hungry.
"I could not find a link to it on their website, but I did read it on everyone's favorite Negril website, so it must be true."
Cut and paste Booger? Perhaps with a "credit" (i.e., where the message actually came from)? I'd be interested in seeing what the NCC has to say.
