In the 3 days we were there we never saw the rafts go back up the river, so they must do it some way other than dragging them in the water.
kylake, being able to swim was key for me, and as usual, being on a river offers a view of Jamaica that is simply different from what can be seen on land. We were able to do it for $60, total - if you call the tour company and get the ride up and all it's more like $150, which seems not quite as worth it to me.
