WOW! That's all I can say about Montserrat and Antigua. We had a wonderful time. I have so many pictures so it'll be a few days before I start my trip report. Luckily we took our i-devices because the first day the good camera fell into the water (along with Matt) and then the back up camera decided it wasn't going to work.
We met lots of wonderful people that made our trip fabulous.
We went sailing and got up close and personal to the classic yachts. We hiked and saw the critically endangered Montserrat Oriel. Took a hike into the exclusion zone of the volcano. Toured the decrepit AIR Studios. Spent a day at an AI (Grand Pineapple). Flew in a little 6 passenger airplane (twice), yowsers! Spent some time at some great beaches and took a natural mud/clay bath. Ate at some great places. Got so close to the mega yacht, The Maltese Falcon, that we could have touched it. Saw Eric Clapton's house. Toured an 80' sailboat (only $20k to charter it for the week /sarcasm).
There is so much more and all the details are what made this trip amazing. Hang in there folks and I'll be back to start this proper but it's gonna be a long one.
