I spent a great week in TB last year. Lots of pictures and stuff here: http://www.travelsinjamaica.com/p/treasure-beach-and-south-coast-2013.html
There are very swimmable beaches but they may not be in front of where you are staying. Jake's beach right in front is tiny and rough but in either direction to the sides there are better ones. Great Bay is calm and clear and sandy and long, Old Wharf has a lovely small sandy cove...there ar emore. Frenchmans and Calabash can have waves, it depends.
I have pics of Lover's Leap here: http://www.travelsinjamaica.com/2013/05/5-up-up-up-to-lovers-leap.html
